5. START-UP / SETTINGS
5.1. Getting Started
The product must be set up via one of these two interfaces:
- Aldes InspirAIR® control unit
- Aldes Configurator software
Please refer to the documentation for these components.
The unit will not operate if start-up is not successfully completed.
5.2. InspirAIR TOP and InspirAIR
®
The INFORMATION menu is accessible without a password. It displays the unit's key parameters without being able to modify them. It enables the installer to
familiarize himself with the unit's characteristics and operation. The user can easily use it to remotely communicate elements to the installer if the unit does not
seem to be operating correctly, and to perform an initial remote diagnosis.

The USER menu is dedicated to the user and accessible without a password. It allows you to adjust your ventilation on a daily basis and launch simple actions.

The INSTALLER menu is reserved for competent installers and can be accessed with password 0405. It provides access to all machine settings, accessories,
operating and maintenance data.
First start-up: When starting up the unit for the first time, use of the wizard is mandatory. The unit will not start if each step has been validated by the installer,
at least until the flow wizard has been completed.

Display key unit settings without being able to modify them:
- type of regulation - time delay - filter type
- current speed - comfort temperature
Display but cannot change:
- filter type
- filter status (timer elapsed or not)
- number of days remaining
Display error code(s) activated by the unit
Display but cannot modify:
- unit item number
- unit serial number
- unit and remote control software number
Display which accessory is connected to the unit and confirm its operating status:
- remote controls (if CO2, PPM display)
Select language
Set date and time if using time programming
Select unit beat on premium unit:
- color change according to air quality
- beats in rhythm with fan speed
- off
Select duration and reset filter timer
Start rapid programming of ventilation in the home
Activate or deactivate, temporarily or permanently, indoor air quality control for automatic ventilation operation.
Activate overpressure ventilation for 2 hours to make it easier to light a fire in an open fireplace.
