Recording
• Connect the equipment from which you wish to record to socket
,z as previously explained.
• Insert a cassette in the cassette holder
G3.
• Press the record key ® and the start key ® at the same time.
The tape starts moving and the pointer of the indicator ® deflects
in the rhythm of the recorded sound.
• To stop, press the stop key ®.
Note: The tape automatically stops when the end is reached, but
the motor continues to turn until the stop key
0
is pressed.
PLAYBACK
a. Via the loudspeaker of the recorder
• Insert a recorded cassette in the cassette holder ,, .
• Press the start key ®.
• Adjust the volume to the required level with the volume control
0.
• To stop, press the stop key ®.
b. Via a loudspeaker enclosure
• Connect the loudspeaker enclosure to socket G .
• Otherwise proceed as described under a.
c. Via a radio, amplifier, second recorder or record player
• Insert a recorded cassette in the cassette holder ©•
• Connect the radio, amplifier, second recorder or record player
to socket ,z.
• Adjust the radio or amplifier for recorder or gramophone play-
back or switch the second recorder to function as amplifier.
• Press the start key ®.
• Adjust the volume and tone required on the radio, amplifier, sec-
ond recorder or record player.
• Mute the loudspeaker of the recorder if desired by sliding the
volume control
0
to '0'.
• To stop, press the stop key ®.
d. Via headphones
• Insert a recorded cassette in the cassette holder ,, .
• Connect the headphones to socket ,a.
• Press the start key ®.
• Slide the volume control ® to '0' to ensure that no sound is
heard from the loudspeaker of the recorder. The volume when
playing back via the headphones is constant and cannot be ad-
justed.
• To stop, press the stop key ®.
