NOTICE: The technology used in the phase
angle controller may cause humming noises.
NOTICE: The fan will stop/suffer functional
problems if the output voltage on the speed
controller is too low. Observe operating in-
structions for speed controller. Set the min-
imum speed on the speed controller such that
the fan motor starts up again after power fail-
ure.

13 Cleaning, maintenance
Cleaning intervals are to be determined by
the operating company. Cleaning frequency
depends on ambient conditions and anticip-
ated impairments.
Before cleaning, switch off mains fuse, secure
against being accidentally switched back on and
position a warning sign. If required, the unit is
cleaned with a dry cloth.
The fans are maintenance-free. Despite this,
check the unit from time to time for bearing
noise, damage and disproportionate vibration. If
necessary, clean the fan as described above.
Never use water or a high-pressure cleaner
to clean the interior.
14 Fault rectification
Fault finding and repairs only permissible
when carried out by qualified electricians.
NOTICE
Unit may be energized even when at a standstill
and may switch on automatically due to sensors
(time delay, humidity etc.).
CAUTION Risk of burning in the area of
the motor
Before working on the fan, switch off the mains
fuse and secure with a padlock.
Attach a warning sign in a clearly visible place.
Let the fan cool down sufficiently before working
in the area of the motor.

ginal spare parts.

off, the motor automat-

DZQ../DZS..: Leave fan
off until the motor and
temperature limiter
have cooled down (up
to 30 minutes). Only
then switch it back on.
Remove foreign objects
