4.3.1. Monitoring the brush resistance
The device monitors the current used by the motor and therefore checks the correct functioning of the cow brush.
If the gear motor is placed under too much strain, the brushes stand still and then move in the opposite direction.
This can occur if the animals lean to far too one side or if a tail gets wound up in the mechanism.
If this occurrence is repeated more than five times, with the period between events being less than 6 seconds, the
control card triggers an alarm, the display shows fault "5" and the machine switches to its alarm state for 4 minutes. (=
motor disconnected / blown / power cable for motor defective alarm)
Caution: the setting must always be made according to the type of herd being cleaned. If the setting is
too high, the cattle may sustain injuries. The responsibility for this setting lies with the customer.
The adjustment of the values should only be carried out when the machine is disconnected from the
power supply.
The threshold setting is lowest at setting ( - ) and highest at (+ ). If the setting is too high or too low for your animals,
here is where you can adjust it.
4.3.2. Setting the cycle time
The cycle time is set at the factory to 90 seconds. This value cannot be adjusted.
