4.3.1. Monitoring the brush resistance
The device monitors the current used by the motor and therefore checks the correct functioning of the cow brush. If
the gear motor is placed under too much strain, the brushes stand still and then move in the opposite direction. This
can occur if the animals lean to far too one side or if a tail gets wound up in the mechanism.
The alarm control card is triggered when this event is repeated more than six times within 60 seconds. The machine
restarts itself after waiting around 15 seconds.
Tip: During the first 30 hours of operation, the cow cleaning machine can stop at a low torque.
