EXT. TRIG (external trigger shutter) mode
The camera starts to accumulate charges the instant an
external trigger signal is input. It accumulates the charges
with the shutter speed set in the menu and outputs a field
image.
In this mode the delay time of the start of accumulation from
the external trigger is only about 1 µs, which allows you to
capture a fast-moving object.
The vertical resolution of the output image is a half that of
normal output image since it is a field image.

Chapter 2 Operation
To use the EXT. TRIG mode, set the menu as follows:

Set SHUTTER in the PAGE1/3 menu to EXT. TRIG.
The SPEED display is highlighted.

Move the cursor to SPEED with the FUNCTION
DOWN button, and set the shutter speed to the desired
speed in the range from 1H to 560H with the DATA UP
or DOWN button.

Press the MENU button for three times to turn off the
menu.
