Adjusting and Setting with Menus
AE MODE (Auto Exposure mode)
Selects the appropriate method to detect the luminance level
on a monitor screen in auto exposure mode.
Select the desired mode, then select LEVEL and set the auto
exposure focusing level within the range from –127 to +127.
Selection
Function
Divides the screen into 9 sections and adjusts auto
MULTI
exposure according to the luminance level in each
section. Normally set to this position.
Adjusts auto exposure by detecting the average
AVERAGE
luminance level of the whole screen. Select to see
the whole screen.
Adjusts auto exposure by detecting the center
SPOT
section only in 9-divided screen. Select to shoot
very small objects.
Adjusts auto exposure by detecting the part with the
PEAK
highest luminance level. Select to see the part with
a bright object in the screen.

Chapter 2 Operation
KNEE (Knee point)
Sets the knee point according to the incident luminance
level.
Selection
Function
Sets the knee point at the 100% luminance level.
HI
Sets the knee point at the 90% luminance level.
LOW
Automatically adjusts the knee point ranging from
AUTO
80% to 100% according to the contrast of the image.
IRIS
Selects to activate or deactivate the iris mode.
Selection
Function
The auto iris mode functions. Select when using the
ON
auto iris lens.
The auto iris mode does not function. Select when
OFF
using the optical lens without the auto iris function.
