- If the rim is blocked from the inside (Fig. 19c), it is not necessary to pre-position the locking
wedges. The very shape of the wedge brings the rim to be locked into the correct position.
- Place the wheel (with the narrow shoulder of the rim facing up) on the turntable,
- Push it slightly downwards and operate the control pedal to lock the wheel in position (fig.20).
Centring function
When clamping the wheel with outside rim hold, proceed as follows:
- Prepare the clamps of the turntable at a slightly higher measurement than that of the
wheel, place the wheel on the turntable, position the rim clamp arm in the working position

so as to press the wheel on the turntable, then clamp
the wheel with the special pedal.
N.B. This facilitates the insertion of the sliding clamp between the tyre and the rim Fig.20a.

- Press the pedal
to move the column
into its working position. Press the locking button
into position A to contemporarily unlock working arm
and horizontal arm. The tool will move upwards in
its rest position (Fig.21).
With the locking button in position B, the tool can
move freely downwards up to the rim edge or up
to the minimum working height (Fig.21). Press the
