When the wing braces on the right and left sides are solidly mounted, the
upper wings are then screwed on tightly to the canopy (9) with the two
M4 x 20mm nylon screws (8).

d) Mounting the Landing Gear
On the underside of the fuselage there are two slits between the
rechargeable battery compartments, these slits are for mounting the
landing gear (1). Slide the preconstructed landing gear (2) from underneath
fully into the landing gear slots. Make sure that the pointed end of the
wheelspat/wheelguard (3) points towards the back of the plane. The
landing gear is later held in the bay by elastic force.
If when you use the model at a later date in a paddock or field, as opposed
to a solid landing surface, it makes sense to use the plane without the
landing gear. The model can be easily launched from a handheld position
and simply belly landed in the grass. This is considerably less dangerous
than using the landing gear which may become entangled during landing
and inevitably cause the model to flip.
