e) Installing the aileron linkage wires
Use 5-minute epoxy resin to glue the left and then the right aileron linkage (1) into the prefabricated slits in the wing.

Important!

Make sure that no glue gets into the guide sleeves, which would jam or inhibit the linkage.
f) Mounting the ailerons
Measure the positions of the aileron linkage wires (2) on the ailerons. Determine
the exact drill hole position for the aileron linkage wire.
Use a 1-mm-drill to pilot-drill the 2-cm-deep hole. Make a little hollow of about
1 mm from this hole towards the wing centre which will be used later to guide
and fix the aileron linkage wire.
Caution!
The drill holes have to be absolutely straight and aligned in the
centre to ensure that the linkage lugs are exactly next to each
other and the aileron deflections on both wing halves are absolutely
identical (see ill. 9. b).
Mark the position of the aileron hinges on the wing and on the ailerons as
illustrated.
After cutting the slits for the aileron hinges (3) using a box cutter (max. thickness
1 mm), the hinges are glued to the wing. Use thin superglue for rigid foam.
After the glue has hardened, attach the aileron to the wing without adding additional glue and check if it fits and works properly.
If it fits properly, put some glue into the drill hole for the aileron linkage wire and glue the hinges to the aileron.
g) Installing the glass fibre wing bar
Use 5-minute epoxy resin to glue the approximately 660-mm-long glass fibre
reinforcement bar (1) into the prepared groove in the upper surface of the wing.
h) Linkage parts
1 Elevator and rudder horns
2 Counter plates
3 Clevises for threaded rods
4 Holding clip
