5.8.5 Arm Rest Replacement
Please refer to your appropriate armrest type.
To Remove The Standard Armrest:
• Use a 6.0 mm Allen Key, (Hexagon Wrench), to undo
the rotation screw, (A).
• Remove the screw.
• Pull the Armrest assembly away from the bracket,
(Fig.5.32).
• To refit, reverse the above procedure.
• Tighten screw to 20 Nm.

5.9 Leg Rests
WARNING!
Be aware of your environment to make sure you do
•
not injure your legs when Leg Rests are extended.
Always ensure that the Leg Rests or foot plates do
•
not come into contact with the castors before driving
the wheelchair .
Leg Rests are not to be used for lifting or carrying
•
the wheelchair under any circumstances.
As with all moving parts be careful not to trap your
•
fingers.
5.9.1 Uni Leg rest removal
To swing away the leg rest:
Depress the retaining catch and swing the leg rest
•
out, (Fig.5.33).
Pull the retaining pin out, (Fig.5.34).
•
Lift the leg rest up and off if removal is required,
•
(Fig.5.35).
To refit:
Line up the holes in the legrest to the studs on the
•
reciever, (Fig.5.35).
Drop the leg rest into the receiver, (Fig.5.35.1).
•
Push the retaining pin back in place, (Fig.5.34).
•
Push the leg rest inwards until it clicks shut,
•
(Fig.5.47).
5.9.2 Uni Seat Hanger depth adjustment
Remove both sets of 5 mm crash test bracket bolts,
•
(Fig.5.36).
Remove both skirt guard receivers, (Fig.5.37).
•
Slide both hanger receivers to the desired location,
•
(Fig.5.38).
Refit the skirt guard receivers and the crash test
•
brackets.
Tighten all bolts, (
•
A
19 - 20 Nm).
