Modes of Operation

Stand-Alone Operation

In this mode the effect light is controlled in automatic operation as a single device.
• Put the DIP switches 1 and 2 to ON and turn the control MIC to the left stop to operate the device in automatic
operation at low speed. Now the different light patterns are automatically controlled by the integrated controller.
• Put only DIP switch 1 ON and turn the control MIC to the left stop to operate the device in automatic operation
at medium speed. Now the different light patterns are automatically controlled by the integrated controller.
• Put the DIP switches 1 and 3 to ON and turn the control MIC to the left stop to operate the device in automatic
operation at fast speed. Now the different light patterns are automatically controlled by the integrated controller.
• Turn the control MIC to the right to operate the device in music control. Now the light effect is controlled by
the integrated microphone.
• Music control sensitivity can be set with the MIC control. Set this control so that the light patterns change
in rhythm to the music.

Master-Slave Mode

In this mode of operation, several devices are connected. One device (the master device) controls the connected
devices (slave devices) synchronously through its integrated controller.
• Set the DIP switches at the master device as described above for stand alone operation to select the operating
mode.
• Set all DIP-switches at the slave devices to OFF to define them as slave devices.
• Set all DIP-switches 10 at the slave devices to ON to define them as slave devices acting opposed to the
master device.
• Connect the DMC OUT DMX output on the master device to DMX IN DMX input on the slave device. Then
connect DMX OUT DMX output of the first slave device to DMX IN DMX input on the second slave device.
Proceed in the same way with additional slave devices.
• Plug an XLR plug with a terminating resistor into the DMX OUT DMX output of the last slave device (as
described in section "DMX operation").
No external DMX controller must be connected to the master device in this mode of operation.
Only one device in a master-slave-chain must be defined as master device. All other devices
must be defined as slave devices.
