value in %.
•

onds until the indicator bar next to the key flashes
briefly. The setting is saved.

Starting the PerioSonic ultrasonic handpiece
The light function and detection mode are automatically
activated when the handpiece is removed from its
holder. (Detection mode used only with PerioSonic
handpiece and SIROPERIO 4 PS or SIROPERIO PE8
tip).
The foot switch provides 3 different function modes:
•
For normal operation (9), abrasive power and cool-
ing/rinsing media, you must actuate both pedals si-
multaneously.
•
The boost function can be switched on with the left
pedal (10). The boost function can be activated only
with a power setting of at least 5 %.
In this mode, the preset power value is increased
by 20 %.
With a presetting of 80 % or higher, the maximum
'boost' value is always 100 %.
•
When you step on the right pedal (11), only rinsing
medium is discharged from the instrument tip, flush-
ing loose particles out of the treatment area.
The vibration of the instrument is deactivated in this
case.
•
Before switching to another function mode, briefly
release the foot switch.
