Remove Debris From Around Brakes
Check on a weekly basis and clean as necessary.

Under certain conditions debris can become
compacted inside the front wheel hubs and around
the brake bands.
Clean all debris from around brake bands , hydraulic
hoses and the inside of the wheel hubs on both front
wheels to prevent the debris becoming a fire hazard.
Clean the machine as follows using compressed air.
Do not use high pressure water.
If possible the machine should be put on a four post
hoist. This will allow the removal of debris without
removing the wheels.

NOTE: At the end of the cutting season remove the
front wheels and hubs and clear all grass clippings
from inside wheel hubs and brakes before storage.

WARNING
Wear a Dust Mask, Eye Protection and
Gloves
Loosen the compacted grass from the inside
of the wheel hub using a piece of wire (A).
Blow out remaining debris using a
compressed air hose.
Remove grass from around the brake
operating mechanism (B).
Clear grass from around hydraulic hoses (C).
WARNING
When replacing wheel hub, torque the
wheel nut to 200Nm and replace split pin.
WARNING
Clean around the brake bands, hydraulic
hoses and inside the hubs on a weekly
basis to prevent the build up of debris that
could become a fire hazard.
