TO SLOW DOWN OR STOP MACHINE
Gradually release the pressure on the footpedal. On
inclines, move the pedal towards neutral till machine
stops, and apply brake.
CUTTING WITH THE MACHINE
1. Start the engine and run at lowest speed.
2. Lower the cutter deck.
3. Place tractor in 4 wheel drive mode by pushing
the 2/4 wheel drive switch.
4. Engage the cutter deck by pushing the PTO
switch. Do not engage the PTO at full throttle.
5. Increase the engine speed to full throttle.
6. Release the parking brake and gently depress
the upper part of the foot pedal for forward
travel. Always keep foot firmly on the foot pedal-
if foot control is too relaxed a jerky motion may
result.
7. No attempt should be made to use the machine
at less than full throttle in heavy conditions. By
use of the footpedal, reduce the forward speed
to avoid the engine laboring, as this could result
in excessive wear.
NOTE: if the operator leaves the seat with the PTO
engaged, or the travel pedal not in neutral, the
engine will shut off.
TRAVERSING A CURB
With the cutter deck raised , approach the curb to be
mounted slowly and at an angle.
