ALTERNATOR LIGHT (E Fig.7)
Light comes on with the key in the start position and
in the run position if the engine has not been started.
Lamp will be illuminated while the engine is running
if system is not charging.
OIL LIGHT (F Fig.7)
Light comes on at start up until engine builds up
pressure then extinguishes. Lamp will illuminate if
engine oil pressure drops too low. If this occurs, shut
off the engine immediately.
HYDRAULIC OIL LIGHT (G Fig.7)
Lamp will illuminate when hydraulic oil becomes too
hot. If this occurs, shut off the engine immediately
and resolve the problem.
GLOW PLUG LIGHT (H Fig.7)
Lamp will illuminate when key is turned counter-
clockwise to the preheat postion, and will extinguish
after 20-30 seconds when glow plugs have
sufficiently warmed the engine.
FUEL GAUGE (J Fig.7)
Monitors quantity of fuel in tank.
TEMPERATURE GAUGE (K Fig.7)
Monitors engine coolant temperature.
HOURMETER (B Fig.8)
This meter records the total engine running
hours.
HORN
The horn is an audible alarm for the following
situations:
a) Horn sounds continuosly-this indicates a high
engine coolant temperature condition. If this
occurs, turn off the engine immediately and
resolve the problem.
b) Horn sounds intermitently-this indicates a low
engine oil pressure condition. If this occurs, turn
off the engine immediately and resolve the
problem.
