ASSEMBLY OF CUTTER
DECK TO TRACTOR
NOTE:
All references to right hand (RH) or
left hand (LH) are with respect to the
operator seated on the tractor.
1. Start tractor and use implement lift to lower lift
arms A. Make sure both arms are down as far
as they will go.
2. Attach arms B and plates C to each lift arm.
Bolt as shown. Torque bolts to 195 ft-lbs.
3. Position arms in hanger brackets D, slide pins
through adjustment bracket to hold arms in
place.
4. Insert bolt O into ball joint, align the cutter deck
and when in positon, insert the bolt into the
mounting nut and torque to 168 ft-lbs.
5. Level cutter deck.
a) Place cutter deck in lowest cutting postion.
See ADJUSTMENTS section.
b) Place (2) 1.00" (25.4 mm) blocks A under
the rear of the deck.
c) Note the position of of the hanger pins S,
they should just touch the hanger T. If not,
loosen nut that holds hanger and slide it until
it contacts the pin S. Torque to 85 ft-lbs.
6. Install one end of the 5/8 I.D. hose R to the port
on the tractor frame labeled "PRESSURE" (left
side when standing in front of tractor) and the
other end to the cutter deck motor port S.
7. Install one end of the other 5/8 I.D. hose O to the
port on the tractor frame labeled "RETURN"
(right side when standing in front of tractor) and
the other end to the cutter deck motor port P.
8. Connect the 90
o
fitting end of the smaller 3/8 I.D.
hose N to the drain port M of the cutter deck motor.
9. Make sure that the hoses do not rub on the tractor
when the deck is raised and lowered.
