Timer Recording Using VCR Plus+ System
Auto VCR Plus+ System Channel Setup (Part 1)
For [VCR➛ ➛ ➛ ➛ ➛ TV] or [VCR➛ ➛ ➛ ➛ ➛ cable box➛ ➛ ➛ ➛ ➛ TV] connection only.
In order for VCR to read PlusCode numbers, some set-up
is required. Guide channel numbers are assigned to each
local broadcast and cable station. Because this number
sometimes differs from the channel your TV receives the
station on, it is necessary to program the VCR with local
channel information. To receive VCR Plus+ channels
automatically, perform the steps below.

VCR Plus+ System is ...
a feature that allows you to set most
items for timer recording by simply
entering a special code number
(PlusCode programming number)
found in TV GUIDE and selected
newspaper TV listings.

• "Initial Setup" on pages 8 ~ 11
must be completed before "Auto
VCR Plus+ System Channel
Setup" can be done. If any part of
setup is incomplete, a warning
screen appears.
