Computer Application and the Dog Door are not communicating
Dog Door does not turn on .

Reset Button

If a problem continues or if you still have issues after turning off your Dog Door, you may need to reset
your Dog Door . The Reset Button "reboots" your Dog Door while keeping your programmed settings . The
Reset Button is the small, pin-sized button located on the Control Panel above the USB Port . Use a small pin
or paper clip to access the Reset Button . Push and then release . After your Dog Door reboots, the startup
screen will appear and then return to Main Menu .

Use of this Product is subject to your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions and notices contained herein . Use of this Product

Product, unused, in its original packaging and at your own cost and risk to the relevant customer care centre together with proof of purchase for
a full refund .
2. Proper Use
This Product is designed for use with pets where training is desired . The specific temperament or size/weight of your pet may not be suitable
for this Product (please refer to this Installation Guide for details) . Radio Systems Corporation recommends that this Product is not used if your
pet is aggressive and accepts no liability for determining suitability in individual cases . If you are unsure whether this Product is appropriate for
your pet, please consult your veterinarian or certified trainer prior to use . Proper use includes, without limitation, reviewing the entire Operating
Guide and any specific Caution statements .
• Low battery indicator. Recharge lithium-ion battery.
• Replace Clock Battery (see "Install Clock Battery and Power Adaptor"
section of Installation Guide) .
• Check for any objects obstructing flap and clear. Next press enter key
so Dog Door will cycle and lock flap . When flap relocks successfully,
the Main Menu screen will appear .

• Internal mechanical failure. Contact our Customer Care Centre for

• Make sure USB cable is plugged into Dog Door USB Port and USB
port on your computer with the USB icon showing on LCD Screen .
• Make sure Dog Door Computer Application software is installed.
• Check for any door Passport
Computer Application software updates and install (see "Connecting
Dog Door to Computer" and "Firmware Updates") .
• Check Power Adaptor is plugged into power connection and LED on
adapter is illuminated .
• Check Power Adaptor is plugged into outlet.
• If using the rechargeable lithium-ion battery, check battery is
connected and inserted correctly with nothing obstructing the Battery
Compartment . Also make sure battery is fully charged .
