CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS - CONTINUED
CAUTION!
•
Exposure to UV may cause materials to degrade over time. Different flooring materials and coatings may fade or
bleach with heavy UV exposure. Prior to use, please verify that the flooring that will be cleaned and disinfected has a
UV stable top coat or is UV resistant. Avoid heavy exposure to any flooring that is not UV resistant.
•
When operating this machine, ensure that third parties, particularly children, are not endangered.
•
Before performing any service function, carefully read all instructions pertaining to that service task.
•
Power the machine OFF at the power switch and remove the magnetic SmartKey, before changing the brushes, and
before opening any access panels.
•
This machine should only be used and stored indoors.
•
The UVGI Accessory hangs very low and behind the wheels, which causes risk of damage if driving on uneven
surfaces or driving over doorsteps etc. (clearance between the floor and lowest metal part of the bulb housing is
0.689" [17.5 mm].
•
Do not use on surfaces having a gradient exceeding 5° (8.7%).
•
Remove the UVGI accessory when transporting the machine to/from cleaning paths.
•
Look out for obstacles on the surface when driving in reverse.
•
Do not clean this machine with a pressure washer.
•
This device contains compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs which contain a small amount of mercury. Proper handling
and disposal is required by many local and country regulations.
