Clean the treads of the driving disk (A) and
the conical friction wheel (B). Set the record

Then check for suffic ient friction betwee n the
driving d i s k (A) and the conical friction wheel
(B) by sto p p i n g the turntable drum by hand.
The drivin g d i s k (A) must keep runn ing w h i l e
t h e turnta b l e drum ( C ) remains stopped. i t
must n o t stop too. Prior t o a possible ad
justment, the position of the fast forwa rd/
rewind see saw (see paragraph 2 . 5) must be
checked.
