③ Unused oil monitoring inputs
With the setting "SE-C1 Replacement" or "SE-C2 Replacement", unused oil monitoring inputs must be deactivated
by means of bridges. They must be set between the following terminals.

Protection functions and properties:
• Temperature monitoring
– The device locks out immediately when the preset motor winding temperature, discharge gas temperature or
oil temperature is exceeded.
• Monitoring of rotation direction, phase sequence and phase failure
– The rotation direction is monitored from the 6th to the 10th second after compressor start (operating recogni-
tion). If the compressor starts with the wrong rotation direction during this time span, the protection device
locks out immediately .
– In the event of a phase failure between the 6th and the 10th second after compressor start, the device opens
the relay contact immediately and closes it again after 6 minutes.
In case of 3 phase failures within 18 minutes or in case of 10 phase failures/phase asymmetries within 24
hours, the protection device locks out immediately .
• Single phase failure and cable short-circuit monitoring
• Replaces the SE-G1.
• The previous models are fully exchangeable, with the same functionality and terminal assignment. Dimensions
and their integration into the control are also identical.
• Suitable for operation with soft starter with a maximum acceleration time of 2 seconds.
• Not suitable for operation with screw compressors!
