This chapter will help you to recognize malfunctions and take
appropriate measures, or, if possible, to perform some repairs.
8.1
Technical malfunctions
Description
Stand-by indicator does not light up
Lamp does not light up although the stand-
by indicator is on
Stand-by indicator lights up red
Fan does not work, and the stand-by indi-
cator lights up red)
No signal, but the lamp lights up as usual
No signal, and the lamp does not light up
Sensor does not work and no signal can be
heard
Material does not cure properly
8.2
Repairs
Repairs may only be carried out by a certified Ivoclar Vivadent
Service Center. Please refer to the addresses at the end of these
Instructions.
If repairs during the warranty period are not carried out by a
certified Ivoclar Vivadent Service Center, the warranty will expire
immediately.
Please also read the safety information in Chapter 2.

Is the fuse OK?
Is the lamp OK?
Is the lamp too hot?
Is the fan defective?
Have you waited more than 10 seconds?
Is the stand-by indicator on?
Is the sensor surface clean?
Is it damaged?
Is the light performance OK?
