7. INSTALLATION

To guarantee steady safe operation of the electropump, its installation must be carried out in a reliable and
correct way.
Instructions before use:
– When the cooling fan is blocked, place the screwdriver close to the fan motor shaft and tap the
screwdriver lightly with a hammer. Check the power supply with the insulation meter: the pressure must
correspond to the values on the data plate. Ensure that the plug is correctly earthed.
– During use and maintenance, make sure that the drainage pump is set in such a way as to avoid
damage to the surrounding environment caused by water leaks (in particular, in basements, in the
kitchen and on stairs). Ensure that there are good ventilation conditions so that the dry motor cools
promptly.
The rubber feet can be used to increase the pump stability and they can be cut to the correct height, if
necessary.
7.1

Recommended installation

The series K pump is provided with a flow switch that controls the operation of the motor, located at the
base of the water discharge, so as to avoid damage to the motor when running at minimum speed.
Install the flow switch correctly, following the instructions, so as to ensure its normal operation.
