Tips For Saving Energy
1- Install the appliance in a cool, well-ventilated room, away from direct sunlight and heat
sources (such as the radiator, oven, etc.). Otherwise, use an insulating plate.
2- Allow warm food and drink to cool off outside the appliance before placing them in the
appliance.
3- To defrost frozen food, put them in the refrigerator compartment. The low temperature
of the frozen food will help to cool the refrigerator during thawing. This helps you to save
energy. Putting frozen food outside of the refrigerator compartment wastes energy.
4- Make sure food and drinks are covered before putting them into the appliance. If you do
not, humidity in the appliance will increase. Therefore, the refrigeration process takes longer.
Also, covering your products before placing them in the appliance helps to avoid odours and
preserve taste.
5- When putting food and drink into the appliance, open the appliance door for the shortest
possible time.
6- Make sure that the covers of all the appliance compartments are closed. (vegetable
crisper, refrigerator compartment, etc.).
7- The door gaskets must be clean and flexible. Replace the gaskets if worn
