Use
4.3.4 Setting up the test unit
Place the test unit on a table or workbench.
The PC should be placed next to the test unit so that it
is within reach of the operator.
NOTICE
Use only the original Dräger USB cable. A USB
extension cable is not permitted.
NOTICE
Use only the original Dräger power supply unit and
cable supplied.
1. Align the table mount so that it is parallel with the
table edge. The distance between the table edge
and the front holes on the table mount must be
4 ¾ inch (12.07 cm).
2. Fasten the table mount to the table using the screws
supplied.
3. Lift the test unit slightly at the back.
4. Align the front feet on the test unit with the slots in
the table mount and move the test unit backwards in
the table mount. The back feet must engage with the
table mount.
WARNING
Risk of death or serious injury!
Improperly connecting a compressed air pipe can result
in death or serious injury.
► Compressed air pipes must only be connected by
trained personnel.

4 ¾ inch (12.07 cm)
CAUTION
Risk of fire!
If the test unit is inflated with high pressure oxygen,
there is a risk of fire. Use only permissible pressures.
► Only breathing air as per EN 12 021 or ANSI/CGA
G-7.1-1989, grade D or higher from a fixed
compressed air system or a compressed air cylinder
may be used for the test unit.
► The maximum permitted high pressure is 4500 psi
(300 bar). The maximum permitted medium
pressure is 290 psi (20 bar).
5. Connect the compressed air cylinder or compressed
air pipe to the high-pressure inlet using an adapter
for the high-pressure inlet (see "Order list", page 11).
6. Connect the test unit to the PC with the USB cable.
NOTICE
The power plug must be freely accessible to ensure it
can be easily disconnected.
7. Connect the test unit to the power supply using the
power supply unit.
To disconnect the plug, pull the socket away from
the test unit.
This releases the lock, allowing the plug to be
removed from the test unit.

Use
5.1 Preparation for use
5.1.1 Preparing the test unit
● Open the compressed air supply at the high-
pressure inlet before testing.
5.1.2 Start the test software on the PC
When a test is launched using the test software, the
test unit is switched on automatically. There is no on/off
switch on the test unit.
NOTICE
Do not connect any breathing safety product to the test
unit's low pressure measuring points before launching
the software.
Each time the software is started, a zero adjustment is
automatically performed before the first test.
