3. Tighten the pads to the correct adjustment (see the previous
chapter).
Coaster brake
Maintenance or repair of the coaster brake must be carried out by a
qualified technician.
Wear of the wheel rims
Like any part subject to wear, the wheel rim should be checked
regularly. The wheel rim can weaken and break, causing you to lose
control and fall.
WARNING: it is very important to check the wear of the
wheel rims. If the mark becomes invisible with a V-brake,
this means that the rim has reached its maximum wear for
safe use. A damaged wheel rim can be very dangerous
and must be replaced. Adjust the brake pads to maintain
a 1-1.5mm spacing with the rim.
3. Mudguard adjustment
The front and rear mudguards can be tightened and adjusted in their
position by means of the rods mounted on the front and rear fork.
Loosen the upper nut to adjust the height of the mudguard rod, loosen
the lower nut to adjust the tilt.
