2. Charging the battery
Before handling the battery, the "Battery" and "Charger" sections
of this user guide must be read to avoid any damage. The bicycle
battery must be charged before the power assistance can be used. To
do this, plug the charger pack plug into a 220 V electrical outlet and
connect the charging cable to the battery socket (19), located at the
rear of the bike, under the luggage rack, beneath a protective cover.
On the top of the battery (19), the charge indicator shows you the
battery charge level. Press the indicator button to activate it. Close the
cover on the charging socket when the operation is complete.
3. Positioning of the safety elements
Lighting
You are provided with a lighting system that is composed of two
reflectors (a white included in the headlight and a red fixed on the rear
light), a headlight, a rear light, two other orange reflectors positioned
between the wheel spokes. The clear rim tyres allow you to be more
visible from the side.
The lighting system is a safety mechanism for your bicycle and as such
it must be present on your bike. Make sure that your lighting system
works properly before riding.
