SAFETY STANDARDS
Our toys are compliant with European Safety
Standards for toys (safety requirements stipulated by
the EEC Council) and with the "U.S. Consumer Toy
Safety Specification". They are also certified by
notified toy safety bodies in accordance with
Directive 2009/48/EC. They are not compliant with
the requirements of road transport standards and
consequently cannot travel on public roads.
• A child must be 2 year of age or older for the
necessary coordination and maturation to operate
this motorized vehicle safely.
• CAUTION! DO NOT, UNDER ANY
CIRCUMSTANCE, use this toy on public roads.
• WARNING! Using the vehicle on public roads, in
narrow spaces or near watercourses and
swimming pools may cause injury to the users
and/or third parties. Adult supervision is always
necessary.
• Children must always wear shoes when using the
vehicle.
• When the vehicle is in operation make sure that
children do not put their hands, feet, other body
parts, clothing, or other objects close to the
moving parts.
• Do not use petrol or other flammable substances
close to the vehicle.
• The vehicle must be only be used by a single child
unless it is classed as a two-seater vehicle.
WEEE DIRECTIVE (EU only)
• At the end of its useful life, this product is classed
as Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE) and must therefore not be disposed of as
urban waste but instead taken to a designated
separated waste collection facility.
• Take it to an appropriate collection centre.
• The barred dustbin symbol indicates that the
product must undergo sorted waste collection.
LR44 BATTERY WARNINGS
The insertion of the batteries must be carried out
and supervised by adults only. Do not allow children
to play with the batteries.
• The batteries must be replaced by an adult.
• Only use the battery type specified by the
manufacturer.
• Respect the +/- polarity.
• Do not short circuit the power supply terminals:
risk of fire or explosion.
• Always remove the batteries when the toy is not
used for a long time.
• Do not throw the batteries into a fire.
• Never try to recharge batteries if they are not
rechargeable.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Remove flat batteries.
• Dispose of flat batteries in the appropriate
recycling containers.
MAINTENANCE AND VEHICLE
CARE
• Do not disassemble or try to repair the vehicle on
your own. Contact an authorised Peg Perego
customer support centre.
• Regularly check the conditions of the vehicle. In
case of fault, do not try to use the vehicle. For
repair use only original PEG PEREGO's spare parts.
• PEG PEREGO assumes no liability if the product as
been tampered with.
• Do not leave vehicle near sources of heat such as
radiators, stoves, fireplaces, etc.
• Protect vehicle from water, rain, snow, etc.
• Periodically lubricate (with a light weight oil)
moving parts, such as wheel bearings, steering
linkages, and chains at points of rotation or where
they come in contact.
• The vehicle's surface can be cleaned with a
dampcloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• The cleaning must be carried out by adults only.
• Never disassemble the vehicles mechanisms unless
authorized by PEG PEREGO.
RULES FOR SAFE DRIVING
For the safety of the child, before starting up the
vehicle read and carefully follow the following
instructions.
• Teach the child how to use the vehicle properly for
safe and enjoyable driving.
• The toy must be used with caution, as it requires
substantial dexterity in order to avoid falls or
collisions which could cause injuries to the user or
third parties.
• Before starting, check that there are no people or
objects obstructing the vehicle's path.
• Drive with hands on the handlebars/steering wheel
and always watch the road ahead.
• Brake in good time to avoid collisions.
WARNING!
• Check that all the wheel fixing studs/nuts are
fastened properly.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
ASSEMBLY MUST ONLY BE CARRIED OUT BY
ADULTS. TAKE CARE WHEN REMOVING THE
VEHICLE FROM ITS PACKAGING. ALL THE
SCREWS AND SMALL PARTS ARE CONTAINED IN
A BAG INSIDE THE PACKAGING.
Do not use the toy if you find it damaged after
opening the packaging. Contact the shop where you
bought it or the customer support centre.
Take care in the presence of children while
assembling the toy, given the risks caused by small
parts (ingestion hazard) and the plastic bags that
contain them (choking hazard).
To assemble the toy, you will need a flat-head
screwdriver, a Phillips screwdriver, a hammer, and a
pair of pliers.
ASSEMBLY
1 • Remove the 4 protective caps from the axles.
2 • Put the seat on its base. Please note: The seat can
be put in 2 different positions, as shown in the
figure.
3 • Secure the seat in the desired position with the
2 screws provided.
4 • Insert the front part of the unit that you have
just assembled in the 2 slots in the chassis.
5 • Secure it at the rear with the 2 screws provided.
6 • Insert the roll bar in the bodywork, as shown in
the figure.
7 • Secure it with the 2 screws provided.
8 • Turn the red coupling pin so that the cab can be
opened (1). Release the cab. Fully insert the hinge
at the front of the chassis (2). Close the cab (3)
and secure it by turning the red pin 180°.
9 • Click together the 2 parts of the steering wheel.
10 • Follow the instructions in the packaging of the
horn to insert it in the hole in the centre of the
steering wheel.
11 • Push the steering column up from below and slot
the steering wheel onto it.
12 • Line up the holes in the steering column and the
steering wheel. Secure the steering wheel with
the screw and the nut: the nut goes in the
hexagonal hole and the screw in the round hole.
13 • Before fitting the front wheels (the smaller ones),
ensure that the internal bushes and wheel trims
are present. Put the following on the left steering
lever, in this order: a washer, the front left wheel
(see the label inside the wheel) and another
washer.
14 • Put one of the bigger self-locking washers into
the special tool, as shown in the figure. The tabs
on the self-locking washer must face towards the
inside of the tool (see detail A). PLEASE NOTE:
The bag contains more self-locking washers than
you will need. Keep the others as spares in case
one breaks.
15 • Push the self-locking washer all the way down to
secure the wheel, as shown in the figure. Repeat
the procedure to fit the other front wheel.
16 • Before fitting the rear wheels, ensure that the
internal bushes and wheel trims are present.
Insert the left rear wheel (see the label inside
the wheel). Make sure that the shape of the axle
fits properly into the bush of the wheel (detail
A). Insert a flat washer.
17 • Insert a self-locking washer in the special tool
provided. PLEASE NOTE: The tabs on the self-
locking washer must face towards the inside of
the tool (see detail A).
18 • Secure the rear left wheel with a hammer, as
shown in the figure.
19 • Leave one of the special conical tools in the left
wheel and lay the toy on its left-hand side. Insert
the following, in this order: the other rear
wheel, a flat washer and the special tool, with a
self-locking washer inside it. Secure the wheel
with a hammer, as shown in the figure.
20 • Click the 2 small caps onto the rear wheels and
the big ones onto the front wheels.
21 • Put the silver stickers on the rear lights.
22 • Fit the 2 rear lights. Slot in the lower part first
and then the upper part, as shown in the figure.
23 • Put the silver sticker on the front headlight and
click on all of the headlight clips.
TRAILER
Follow the instructions below to assemble the
trailer.
24 • Insert one of the 4 self-locking washers (there
are 2 spares) in the special tool provided.
PLEASE NOTE: The tabs on the self-locking
washer must face towards the inside of the tool
(see detail A).
25 • Remove the axle from the packaging and take off
its protective caps. Use a hammer to hit the axle
all the way down into the tool provided, then
remove the tool.
26 • Click the wheel trims onto the wheels. Put the
following items on the axles, in this order: a
washer, a wheel, the other wheel, a washer (4
washers are provided, 2 of which are spares).
PLEASE NOTE: Make sure that the bushes are
present in the wheels and that the wheels are
fitted correctly, with the wheel trims facing
outwards.
27 • Put a self-locking washer in the special tool,
insert the axle that you prepared earlier and hit
it all of the way in with a hammer.
28 • Slot the wheel unit into the bottom of the
trailer.
29 • Insert the red clip in the end of the trailer.
30 • Clip the bottom of the trailer that you prepared
earlier into the body, as shown in the figure.
31 • Assemble the 3 sides of the trailer. Ensure that
the parts with the wooden effect are facing
outwards.
32 • Fit the assembled parts into the slots in the
body of the trailer.
33 • Put the 2 remaining caps onto the wheels of the
trailer.
34 • To attach the trailer to the tractor, insert the
clip on the trailer in the hole at the back of the
tractor and turn it (see fig. 35).
35 • Position 1: The trailer can be removed. Position
2: The trailer is attached. PLEASE NOTE: The
trailer can hold items with a maximum total
weight of 10 kg.
VEHICLE FEATURES AND

36 • DRINK HOLDER: A convenient drink holder
situated near the seat.
37 • HORN: There is a horn on the steering wheel of
the vehicle.
38 • ADJUSTING THE PEDALS: The pedals can be
put in 2 different positions to cater to the height
of the child. POSITION A (the upper one) is for
smaller children and POSITION B (the lower
one) is for bigger children. The 2 positions are
marked with 2 different colored dots on the
corresponding sticker. Remove the 3 screws
holding the pedal adjustment disk (which are
shown on the sticker with symbols) and rotate
it to the desired position, then tighten the 3
screws. PLEASE NOTE: Put both adjustment
disks in the same position (upper or lower) on
both sides.
39 • ADJUSTING THE SEAT: The seat can be put in 2
different positions to cater to the growth of the
child. See figure 2 for details.
