FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Near side (left side as you sit on bike)
Remove the two bolts arrowed in picture 1. You will need to hold the nut on the right hand side of the
bike for the rear bolt.
Place one of the M12 nyloc nuts (item 8) with a washer (item 7) onto the engine bar (item 12) please
ensure the nut is fully engaged (the end with the shorter thread length).
Place the engine bar assembly through the left hand side mounting block (item 6), the assembly should
go through the mounting block with the shorter rear location spigot as denoted 'XX' in the left hand
side parts diagram.
Offer the block and engine bar assembly into position as shown in pictures 2 and 3.
Place one of the M10 washers (item 5) onto the longer of the M10 cap head bolts (item 4) and fit
through the front hole in the mounting block and into the forward engine mount as arrowed in picture 4
and tighten.
Place one of the M10 plain washers (item 5) onto one of the M10 hex headed bolts (item 11).
Place one of the locking washers (item 10) onto the bolt so it sits against the plain washer.
Place the bolt assembly through one of the crash protectors (item 2).
Offer the crash protector assembly into position as shown in picture 5. PLEASE NOTE THE CRASH
PROTECTOR MUST BE POSITIONED AS IN PICTURE 'C' WITH BIGGER END TOWARD
FRONT OF BIKE. Tighten until you feel the compression increase slightly. Then apply a quarter
turn. Do not over tighten as damage can occur to the bike. Do not exceed 40Nm of torque.
Fit the crash protector cap (item 1) as shown in picture A.
Off side (right side as you sit on bike)
Remove bolt arrowed in picture 6.
Offer the right hand side mounting block (item 13) into position as shown in pictures 7 and 8.
Use the remaining M12 washer (item 7) and M12 nyloc nut (item 8) on the protruding engine bar (as
arrowed in picture 7) to hold in position.
