HANDLEBAR

Pass the ignition switch, left switch, front brake switch
and indicator light wiring harnesses to the right side
of the boss on the handlebar mounting bracket.
NOTE:
Do not pass the choke cable.
A: Left switch wiring harness
B: Ignition switch wiring harness
C: Indicator light lead wire
D: Choke cable
E: Front brake switch lead wire
F: Boss
Install the handlebar to the handlebar mounting
bracket as shown in the illustration.
NOTE:
Install the headlight bracket together with bolt
at front side.
Install the ignition switch bracket together
with bolt at rear side.

Pass the ignition switch, left switch, front
brake switch and indicator light wiring har-
nesses between the handlebar and handlebar
mounting bracket.
A: Handlebar clamp
B: Handlebar mounting bracket
C: 8 × 55 mm bolt (with lock washer)
D: Headlight bracket
E: Ignition switch bracket
F: Wiring harness
G: Dot mark
Tighten the handlebar clamp bolts to the specified
torque.
NOTE:
Align the dot mark on the handlebars with the
mating surface of the rear side of left clamp.

Make sure each clamp, as bolted, is true and
square, with the clearances equalized as
shown.

Tighten the headlight bracket bolts.
A: 8 × 55 mm bolt (with lock washer)
B: Dot mark
C: 8 × 16 mm bolt (with lock washer and washer)
