Read these instructions before use
These instructions contain important information and warnings. Inexpert or careless
use of gas and open fire generally can, like incorrect handling of the grill, pose a
considerable risk to people and property. It is therefore important that you take the
time to read all the instructions before use.
Eva Solo gas grill
All Eva Solo products are designed to be both functional and aesthetic.
Gas grill stainles steel
The Eva Solo gas grill is no exception. Firstly, it is made from all stainless steel.
This means that it requires a minimum of maintenance and will withstand wind and
weather and frequent use for many years. The gas grill features a solid, stainless
steel grid, which – unlike chrome or nickel-plated grids – is very hard-wearing and
tolerates, for example, frequent cleaning with a steel brush.
Gasgrill black
The Eva Solo gas grill is made of enamelled steel with a black, matt coated surface.
The gas grill is equipped with a solid, stainless steel grid which is designed to
withstand considerable wear, for example frequent cleaning with a steel brush. The
cooking lid and the flat edge on the grid are made of black, gloss enamelled steel.
The gas bottle sits in the barrel-shaped cabinet where it is out of sight and at the
same time protected against the rain.
The gas grill features a flavouriser plate. Fat and juices which drip onto the flavouriser
plate evaporate or turn into smoke, giving the food an authentic "barbecue flavour".
The grill also comes with two lids. One is a dome lid which turns the grill into a fan
oven, while the other one is a flat protective lid. With the flat lid in place, the grill
can be used as an extra table on the patio, avoiding the need to store it away. It is
therefore both decorative and practical – even when it is not being used for grilling.
Setting-up
To assemble the grill, you will need a screwdriver and an adjustable spanner.
Remove the parts from the packaging. Place the cabinet (1) on a firm surface. Wash
the flavouriser plate (4) and the grid (5) with soapy water to remove any oil residue
from production. Then place the flavouriser plate and the grid on the grill. Remove
the panel (3) and ensure that the drip bowl (2) is in place.
Instructions for replacing the battery for the electronic ignition system
Uses one AAA battery (11).
Opening the grill
1. Using both hands, take hold of either side of the panel
2. Press the door down.
3. Tip the door out towards you.
