If the optional protective caps are not used, take measures to prevent acci-
dental contact and make sure that there is sufficient distance or insulation
between adjacent devices.
CAUTION: Protection and safety functions!
Only use the transducer for the intended purpose. Otherwise, the protection
and safety functions of the transducer may fail.
CAUTION: Suitability test by system builders and operators!
The system builder or operator must ensure the suitability and correct use of
the transducer.

For Your Safety

Observe the following before installing and configuring the transducer:
• Read this user manual before installing the transducer and keep it
for further reference.
• Observe all safety information in this manual and the specifications
indicated on the transducer.
• Disconnect the transducer from all power sources and make sure that
input and power supply are de-energized before installation and
configuration.
• For multi-range models: Only change the input and output ranges using
the rotary switch in the de-energized state.
• Install a two-pole circuit breaker for the power supply and input of the
transducer.
• Do not connect the transducer to the power supply before it is profession-
ally installed.
• Only licensed electricians or qualified personnel with comparable training
are permitted to install and configure the transducers in accordance with
this user manual.
