1. Disconnect the spark plug con-
nector (12) from the spark plug
(13) by simultaneously pulling
and turning.
2. Unscrew spark plug (13) coun-
ter clockwise with spark plug
socket.
3. Check the spark gap using a
feeler gauge (available from
specialist shops). The spark gap
must be at least 0,51 mm.
4. If necessary, adjust the gap by
carefully bending the ground
electrode on the spark plug.
5. Clean the spark plug (13) with a
wire brush.
6. Insert the cleaned and adjusted
spark plug or replace a dam-
aged spark plug with a new one
(recommended torque 20 Nm,
determined with a torque
wrench) (see "replacement
parts").

Changing the Engine Oil

For oil change, tilt equipment back-
ward with handlebar. Do not place
equipment on side to prevent oper-
ating liquids from leaking.
• Change the engine oil for the
first time after around 5 operat-
ing hours then every 50 operat-
ing hours or annually.
• Change the engine oil when the
engine is warm.
• Dispose of the used oil in an
ecofriendly manner (see "dis-
posal / environmental protec-
tion").

pump out the motor oil with an oil
pump.
3. Refill the motor oil (see „Commission-
ing").
4. Place equipment upright and refill mo-
tor oil (see „Initial Operation").

Adjusting the Bowden Cable

If the Bowden cables go out of adjust-
ment, you can adjust them.
1. Loosen the small lock nut (42).
2. - Turn the adjusting nut (43)
anticlockwise:
The Bowden cable shortens.
- Turn the adjusting nut (43)
clockwise:
The Bowden cable lengthens.

Sharpening/Replacing the Blade

Wear gloves when handling the
blade.
Improper installation can cause
severe injury.
Never tilt the lawnmower to the
side or forwards when the petrol
or oil tank is filled! This could
damage the engine, voiding the
warranty.
Empty the oil and fuel tank as
needed using a suitable pump.
Before any maintenance or clean-
ing work, turn off the machine, pull
the spark plug connector (
and wait for the blade to come to a
standstill. Danger of injury!
