9 Cleaning and maintenance

The outer surfaces of the device may be cleaned with cotton wool moistened with alcohol
CAUTION !
Risk of damage to the device. Never use phenol based cleaning agents or
agents containing peroxide derivatives to disinfect the surfaces of the device
housing.
During cleaning, the batteries must be removed from the device. No liquid may be allowed to enter
the device. If liquid does penetrate into the device, clean the device and have it verified completely.

10 Servicing and disposal at the end of the service life

Servicing

Check the device performance once a year.
10.2

Disposal at the end of the service life

At the end of its service life, the device and the accessories must be disposed of in compliance
with the local regulations.
The device must be disposed in a municipally approved collection point or recycling centre when it
is no longer required.
Improper disposal harms the environment and human health due to the presence of dangerous
substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
