Safety instructions
The following points shall be specially respected :

The device has been designed for training purposes only. It may in any case not be used
for defibrillation.
•
The device is used with training electrodes.
•
These instructions for use describe the complete FRED easy TRAINER device with all its
optional features.
•
The device is not designed for any use other than that described in these instructions.
Such use is forbidden.
•
The user shall be entirely responsible for use of other accessories than from SCHILLER.
•
The user must be familiar with the functioning of the device.
•
Before each use, the user must ensure the device is working correctly.
•
The device is not designed for use in areas where an explosion hazard may occurs

Cleaning and maintenance
The outer surfaces of the device may be cleaned with cotton wool moistened with alcohol
Never use phenol based cleaning agents or agents containing
peroxide deriv atives to disinfect the surfaces of the device housing
During cleaning, the batteries must be removed from the device. No liquid may be allowed to
enter the device. If liquid does penetrate into the device, clean the device and have it verified
completely.
8 Servicing and disposal at the end of the service life
Check the device performance once a year. At the end of its service life, the device and the
accessories must be disposed of in compliance with the local regulations. Apart from the
plug-in battery, the device does not contain hazardous material and can be disposed of like
any other electronic equipment.
