Electrical connection of the InPro 8300 RAMS units
InPro 8300 RAMS 1 is the unit upstream of the metering point
InPro 8300 RAMS 2 is the unit downstream of the metering point
M+/M- are connections for the uninterruptible measurement of the output currents of the InPro 8300
RAMS units.
The outputs are non-floating and are measured against L-.
The 4–20 mA output for the yeast cell count is available at terminal 20 of the connection module.
The PC can be connected to the socket of the connection module. By toggling the switch you can switch
between the communication with InPro 8300 RAMS 1 and InPro 8300 RAMS 2.
Before switch-over always end the program, after switch-over restart the program, since otherwise the
calibration files in the RAMS_Projekte folders might be overwritten. Should this happen, you will find a
backup in the folder c:\RAMS_Projekte\Factory which you can copy to c:\RAMS_Projekte.
