b) Installing the Fin
For installing the fin (1), loosen the screws (2).
For this, you will have to hold the nut (3) with a
suitable tongs or screwdriver. Pull the screws from
their holders, push them through the fin holes and
reattach everything to the tail boom.
c) Installing the Swash Plate Servos
Install the swash plate servos at the chassis as shown in the following images.
Suitable screws can be found in a bag that comes with your construction set.
Since servos may deviate in build and size, this installation can only give an example for the linkage
installation.
For some servos, you may have to install the servo lever ball heads to the outside instead of as shown in
the figures.
Figure 4a shows the left rolling servo (1) (viewed
in flight direction). Install the servo as shown in
the image.
The construction set includes suitable pushrods
(2). As shown in the figure, the pushrods are at-
tached to the linkage at the chassis and to the
servo rudder horn on the other side. For this, first
install the ball heads (3) to the servo levers.
Shorten the fitting pushrods so that both rods are
of exactly the same length and can be installed
without any tension with the servo in its neutral
position.
