CAUTION!
Incorrect metering
Possible consequence: Slight or minor
injuries, material damage
– Do not switch off the measuring
system during intermittent operation
– Switch on the metering equip‐
ment with a time delay if neces‐
sary
– The water to be measured must
always contain a sufficient quantity of
the appropriate metering medium
– Otherwise you will have to take
into account run-in times

Connection to external devices
Possible consequence: Fatal or very
serious injuries
– The sensor is not galvanically isolated
from the sample water
– Ensure that there is potential iso‐
lation towards all other con‐
sumers
– The control device connected
must be potentially isolated both
from the sensor and also from
the voltage supply
– Do not allow the supply voltage to fall
below 16 V DC, even for short periods
of time
– The power source must be able
to work with a minimum of 35 mA
at a minimum of 16 V DC
– Too low a supply voltage will
result in an incorrect reading
– Please note the following when con‐
necting to external devices:
– Voltage source: 16-24 V DC,
min. 35 mA at 16 V DC
– Max. loading: 1 W
The interface requirements are automatically
met when connecting to ProMinent control
devices.
