Appliances in rooms with a volume of more
than 20 m can be fitted with an external

commercial room temperature controller. The
temperature selection knob (N1) must be
turned fully clockwise to the end-stop.
The temperature controller should be
positioned as far as possible from the
appliance and mounted on a wall at least
1.5 m high.

Safety equipment

CK 20 S, CKZ 20 S and CKR 20 S are
equipped with over temperature protection,
which switches off the heating element and
the fan in the event of a malfunction. If the
over temperature protection operates, the
cause of this must be found out and corrected
(eg covered air-exit opening). The heater will
operate again after a cooling time of several
minutes. If the over temperature protection
repeatedly operates when the unit is switched
on further advice should be sought from
Stiebel Eltron.
What to do in case . . .
Using the original Stiebel Eltron sparepart
(Order-Nr. 02 06 71).
When the fan heater does not heat up,
firstcheck the fuse. If the fuse is in order, than
call the installer.
If the electric cable needs to changed, than it
must be done by a scilled installer.
Handing over
Hand over the operating and
installation instructions to the user.
Explain the functions of the unit and ensure
that the user pays particular attention to
the safety instructions especially the fact
that the air inlet and outlet must never be
covered.
