Basic Rules of Operation
Temporarily adjusting the handset volume during conversation
The basic adjustment
section Setting the handset to change the long-lasting settings.
You may temporarily change these settings during a telephone
conversation:

You are speaking on the handset with handsfree loudspeaker off or
on.
Temporarily increasing the handset volume

Keep the upper part of the selector depressed for a long time until a
deep confirmation beep sounds. The volume steps up one step.
Repeat the procedure until the volume reaches an appropriate level.
Temporarily decreasing the handset volume
O K
Keep the lower part of the selector depressed for a long time until a
deep confirmation beep sounds. The volume steps down one step.
Repeat the procedure until the volume reaches an appropriate level.
This adjustment retains for the actual telephone conversation only. For the
next phone call the volume for handset and for handsfree loudspeaker
automatically will switch back to the original long-lasting settings.
The variable basic adjustment of the handset volume has no effect on

the basic volume adjustment of the handsfree loudspeaker.
