5 Adjustments
5.1

Adjustment of gripping range

Before the product can be lifted and transported, the gripping range has to be adjusted to the dimensions of
the product.
Caution while adjusting of the gripping range. There is danger of injuring the hands!
5.1.1
Gripping range 1: from 0 mm to 250 mm (0-9¾") (triangle marking)
The  triangle markings (at the gripping arms) must be congruent (in the middle of the device) for these
gripping range (Fig. 2). The  triangle marking at the locking hook (2) must be positioned over the plug bolt
with linchpin (8)  Fig.3.
Remove the plug bolt with linchpin (6) or rather the plug bolt with linchpin (8), to adjust the gripping range.
Never remove both plug bolts at once (only one after another)!
After the gripping range is adjusted, the device must be secured again with the plug bolt with linchpin (8) or
rather with plug bolt with linchpin (6).
5.1.2
Gripping range 2: from 250 mm to 400 mm (9¾"-11¾") ( quadrate marking)
The  quadate markings (at the gripping arms) must be congruent (in the middle of the device) for these
gripping range (Fig. 2). The  triangle marking at the locking hook (2) must be positioned over the plug bolt
with linchpin (8)  Fig.3
Remove the safety bolt (6) and the plug bolt with linchpin (8), to adjust the gripping range.
Never remove both bolts at once (only one after another)!
