Swap/Copy/Paste/Delete/Rename - Easily re-manage & organise your User Sounds.
[Please note that when re-arranging User Sounds, their location will not be Updated
within your Styles/Performances/Pads. This may lead to problems if the User Sound
is used elsewhere and not remapped. An automatic ReMap feature will be tested and
may be available in future versions.]
View Properties Of Sounds - Replicates the OSC Basic Menu of your keyboard and
displays the properties of each OSC Layer and showing if a an OSC Layer is using
Factory or Samples from RAM. The Multisample option, also lists all Multisamples that
are available within the .SET [These features are currently READ ONLY, meaning it
will only display the properties of a sound, but you will not be able to modify any of the
settings.]
Import/Merge - The Import/Merge option extends the Sound Manager window, to
reveal another Source SET. This is where you load in the 2nd Set you wish to Copy
User Sounds from. Once the 2nd SET is imported, you can simply copy/paste User
Sounds from your Source to Target Set.
NOTE:
When a User Sound is copied from a Source Set, User Samples are NOT imported
along! The imported User Sounds may not sound the same with your SET if it uses
User Sounds. When you paste a User Sound, Korg Pa Manager creates a log of any
imported/merged User Sound and notes this down and presents this information in the
Output Window. You can then Save this info either as a simple Text file or a detailed
table [.html format], which is rich text formatted & colour coded, viewable in any
browser. The user is then required to manually import any necessary User Samples
that are linked to the User Sound, in to the keyboard themselves.
Generate Reports - With a click of button, you can now create Reports for all of your
User Sounds. This creates a report of all your User Sounds. The output can either be
saved as a simple Text file or a detailed table [.html format], which is rich text formatted
& colour coded, viewable in any browser. Please note that the Sound Manager,
currently offers limited functionality, due to the complexity of the file format.
