Basic connection of functions
The individual functions are all connected in accordance with the same principle: From the decoder
E
output to one function pole, and from the other pole to the blue decoder cable. Alternatively, the
blue cable can be substituted by a connection to a track connection (red/black cable). In this case,
outputs A and B must not be set to polarity-dependent light changes (the default setting)!
If a function is to be connected to a certain polarity, note that the function output is the negative pole
and that the blue cable is the positive pole. If you want to connect LEDs to the LF101XF, do not
forget voltage multipliers.
You can install several LF101XFs in the same vehicle or else you can use the LF101XF in
addition to a locomotive decoder. In this case, make sure that you can program the decoders
separately, therefore you might have to do the programming before installation.
