NOTE:
• Front propeller nut is left hand thread.
• For removing or installing the front propeller
nut, the "Propeller nut remover & installer"
(Suzuki genuine part), is required. Consult
your authorized Suzuki marine dealer for
Suzuki genuine parts.
• Align the locking edge of the stopper 5 with
the groove on the front propeller nut.
6. Bend the locking edge of the front propeller
nut stopper 5 to the front propeller nut side
to secure the nut.
NOTE:
• Do not bend section A and B of the front
propeller nut stopper 5 to the front propeller
nut side.
• Bend two sections of the locking edge of the
front propeller nut stopper 5.

7. Place the rear propeller stopper 7 on the
shaft.
8. Align the rear propeller 8 with the propeller
shaft splines and slide the rear propeller
onto the shaft.
9. Place the rear propeller nut spacer 9 and
washer 0 on the shaft.
10. Install the rear propeller nut A and tighten it
with a torque wrench to 50 – 60 N·m (5.0 –
6.0 kg-m/36.0 – 43.5 lb-ft).
11. Align the grooves in the rear propeller nut
with the hole in the shaft, then insert a
cotter pin B and bend the pin ends over to
lock it in place.
