5.10.2 Driving direction lever
The travel direction lever is located on the right underneath
the steering wheel.

The following functions can be selected with the travel di-
rection lever, the selected programmes are displayed on
the display on the steering wheel.
Neutral position
–
The lever position is centred
Forward travel direction
–
Push the lever up and towards the front
Direction of travel reverse
–
Pull the lever up and towards the back
Switchover operating programme fast (rabbit) and op-
–
erating programme slow (turtle)
Push the travel direction lever in the axial direction (the
travel direction lever must be in the neutral position).
5.10.3 Ignition switch
The ignition lock is underneath the travel direction lever.
1 Position STOP: Engine off
2 Position I: Ignition on
3 Filament symbol: Preheating - takes place automatical-
ly
4 Position II: Start motor

2 Brake pedal
3 Pedal brush contact pressure/brush speed

5.12.1 Start/transport mode
If the ignition key is inserted and turned into position I (ig-
nition on), the following indication appears on the display
after a few seconds.
