11.4.14 Clean and replace the air filter (MC 130
advanced plus)
1 Wing bolt
2 Air filter housing
3 Locking
Remove the right side motor panel.
Open the wing screw approx. two turns.
Swivel the entire air filter unit outwards as far as possi-
ble.
Screw the wing screw in tightly.
Open the locks (3x) on the air filter housing.
Remove the air filter housing.

2 Filter cartridge
3 Safety cartridge
Remove the filter cartridge and the safety cartridge.
Clean the interior of the air filter reservoir.
Clean the filter insert: Knock the dust off on a hard sur-
face, do not blow out with compressed air.
Replace the safety cartridge by a new one, do not clean
it.
Check that the sealing surface and the filter insert are
clean and undamaged.
Insert the cleaned filter insert.
Important: A severely contaminated or damaged filter
insert must be replaced.
Once the air filter unit is assembled, pivot it back in
again and tighten with the wing screw.
11.4.15 Replacing the dust filter of the cabin
The fresh air is drawn in through a dust filter or a fine dust
filter (filter class F8 optionally available) at the side of the
B-pillar of the driver cabin.
In case of frequent work in dusty environments, replace
more often.
11.4.15.1 Replacing the dust filter on the outer cabin
1 Cover
2 Dust filter
Unscrew 6 screws of the cover and remove the cover
with the dust filter.
Replace the dust filter in the cover by a new one.
Reattach the cover with the new dust filter.
11.4.15.2 Replacing the dust filter on the inside of the
cabin
1 Driver seat
2 Dust filter
3 Passenger seat
Push both seats towards the front.
Take out the dust filter.
Check/clean dust filter, replace if necessary.
Installation information
Pay attention to the correct fitting position during reinstal-
lation.
