8.2 The Distributing Pro station
For the MPS System 403-1, the Distributing Pro station is equipped with three stacking magazine modules
and one 700 mm conveyor module.
In addition, IO-Link sensors for fill level detection of the magazines and an RFID module are integrated. As
soon as a magazine is empty, this is signaled by the indicator light Q1. After filling up the magazine, the
station must be reset.

The Distributing Pro station is a feeder unit.
Feeder units fulfill the function of holding, sorting
and feeding workpieces.
In addition, feeder units also enable workpieces to
be sorted according to several characteristics
(workpiece shape, weight etc.).
Feeder units include:

Magazines with separator function,
• Vibratory spiral conveyors,
•
Inclined conveyors,
•
Hoppers with feed separators.
Workpieces which can be handled by feeder units
include:
•
Electroplated parts,
•
Molded plastic parts,
•
Punched parts and turned parts.
