EXCHANGING THE BATTERY ON THE VERSION WITH DIGITAL DISPLAY
ATTENTION
For the purpose of a longer shelf life we recommend the use of alkali batteries.
CLEANING AND CARE
When not in use make sure that the unit is stored dustproof. Upon request we can provide
a dust cover that keeps the unit in good condition.
Wipe the unit regularly with a damp cloth to remove any stains. The paint is resistant to
conventional cleaners.
Do not oil the unit column, nor clean with alcohol.
Do not leave the device in places where corrosive vapours might be present such as in
battery charging or painting areas.
REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL
The unit consists of:
Glass: lens
Plastic material: casters, plexiglass cover, dust cover, handle and other small parts
Copper: cable and the coil of the luxmeter
Metal (Steel - Aluminium): frame and mechanic of the device with a total
of 90 % (weight)
Paper and cardboard: manual and packaging
The device consists mainly of metal. When disposing of the device this shall be carried
out in accordance with applicable local government regulations. In the interest of
environmentally-friendly disposal a proper separation of the different materials has to
be ensured.
WARRANTY
In case of obvious and recognized manufacturing defects of an article, this will be repaired
or replaced under warranty, provided the complaint is submitted and documented within
8 days after delivery. The return of defective goods will only be accepted „carriage paid
to (CPT)" whereas „cash on delivery parcels (C.O.D parcels)" will be refused. Any other
compensation form is excluded.
If replacement of the battery of the Headlight Tester is
necessary, then proceed as follows:
Use a cross-recess screwdriver (Philips or Pozidrive)
to loosen the two self-cutting screws with which the
battery holder is attached to the back cover of the
optical box.
Then remove the holder, take the battery out, unplug
and replace the battery.
When reassembling the new battery just proceed in
the reverse order.
