d. Turn the screw (38) clockwise to slacken it.
e. Remove the fl ange (39) and slide the blade down.
f. Clean the shaft and fl anges.
DANGER - WARNING
CHECK THE TEETH ARE POINTING THE RIGHT WAY. THE ARROW INDICATING
THE DIRECTION OF ROTATION MUST BE POINTING CLOCKWISE.
g. Install the new blade.
h. Make sure, by means of a visual inspection, the blade is installed with the teeth pointing in
the direction indicted by the arrow marked on the blade,
i.
insert the fl ange (39).
j.
Turn screw (38) counter-clockwise to tighten it.
k. Remove and put away all tools;
l.
Lower and lift the head to restore the position of the guard (11).
m. Perform wedge adjustment as indicated in the heading "WEDGE ADJUSTMENT".
n. Give a start pulse to check direction of blade rotation is correct.

LUBRICATION
NOTES
The mitre saw does not need lubricating as all the rotating parts on the machine are self-
lubricating.
5.3.
CLEANING - TASKS TO BE PERFORMED
DANGER - WARNING
- BEFORE COMMENCING CLEANING OPERATIONS, PUT ON ADEQUATE
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (SAFETY GLASSES, GLOVES AND MASK
TO PROTECT THE AIRWAYS).
- AVOID USING JETS OF COMPRESSED AIR.
When necessary
1) Remove any shavings or work residues from around the cutting zone and the work surfaces
using a small brush or vacuum cleaner.
2) Disassemble the dust extractor fi lter and clean it by tapping it
Every day
Remove any work residues and dust from the whole machine, including the power cable, using
a vacuum cleaner or a small brush.
Once a week
Disconnect the exhaust fi lter or conduit and clean thoroughly with a vacuum cleaner.
